Dublin School of English

Earlier today (2nd September 2016), Marketing English in Ireland (MEI) was informed of the immediate closure of one of its members, the Dublin School of English. The closure of the school was announced by the owner in meetings with students and staff.

As an association MEI represents 62 regulated language schools and colleges nationwide and operates a Learner Protection scheme. If a MEI member school or college were to close, students who have been enrolled in an ACELS (Accreditation and Coordination of English Language Services) approved programme, would be transferred to another MEI school or college to complete their course. There is no additional cost to students for this service from MEI.

In order to facilitate and to support the affected students in Dublin School of English, the following information has been supplied to all students impacted.

A dedicated email has been provided for them to contact MEI so as to ensure that they are able to liaise directly with MEI. A registration day will take place on Friday 9th September at 11.00 a.m. the Dublin School of English, 11 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 in order for students to be allocated to their new school on that day.

All matters relating to the closure of the school are a matter for the Dublin School of English.
