CAMPAIGNING AND LOBBYING

At Marketing English in Ireland (MEI), our mission is to elevate Ireland’s English language education (ELE) to a globally acclaimed standard, renowned for its excellence and innovation. A key focus of ours is championing the interests of ELE provider members.

We collaborate closely with the Irish government, various international associations, and embassies, aiming to bolster the ELE industry’s growth in Ireland—a sector already contributing over €1.183 billion to the Irish economy. Our sector’s resilience in the post-COVID era has been exemplary, with a staggering 295% increase in student enrolment from 2021 to 2022, highlighting a robust recovery and promising future for ELE in Ireland.

In addition to our larger campaigns, MEI offers best-practice guidelines and a wealth of resources, empowering our members with the tools for effective self-advocacy.

GOVERNMENT TRIP TO KOREA

In November 2023 MEI visited South Korea as part of the Team Ireland Trade Mission.
