Global Greening Competition

Go Green to win a prize! 

Every year, hundreds of landmarks and buildings from Sydney to San Francisco Go Green to celebrate Ireland’s National Day – St. Patrick’s Day Ireland’s National Day on March 17th. This year, we’re inviting you to join in the fun. 

You can take part in the annual celebration by Going Green – bringing Ireland to life in the classroom, where you live or online.  

We’ve 100s of prizes for people who take part – from hoodies to hampers and lots more as well! 

Have fun Going Green 

Going Green can involve lights, clothes, hats, virtual backgrounds, paint, hairspray, food, balloons, face paint – the only limitation is your imagination!

Check out the MEI Global Greening Toolkit, where you can find a wide range of English language teaching tools, quizzes, games, stunning imagery, global greening photos, St. Patrick themed videos, Zoom backgrounds, and lots more so that you, and your students, can have fun and learn English. 

Once you have your Go Green photo or video, all you have to do is to upload it to Instagram. 

How to get involved 

To be in with a chance to win prizes, upload your Go Green photo or video to your Instagram account and tag your MEI Member School along with @marketing_english_in_ireland @tourismireland and #GlobalGreening

Prizes will be allocted to each MEI Member School and our International Education Partners. There will be one overall winner annouced on 19th March. There is no limit to the number of applications.
