mackdonald language academy is a year-round English school for learners of all ages. We are situated in Kilkenny City, in the heart of Ireland, an hour ́s drive from Dublin.
In Kilkenny, we offer 'all inclusive' English summer camps for kids and teenagers (8-18 years) as well as courses for adults (module-based). We cater for both, individual and group travel. Students stay with host families.
Our school premises include a library, recreation room, study centre, computer room and superb sport facilities. Many Language Plus activities, e.g. Tennis, Golf, Badminton and Horse Riding are available.
During the summer months, we run 2 additional Junior residential centres in Waterford and Dublin.
We offer our high school programme "Irish Experience" in co-operation with several high schools in and around Kilkenny.
